You can watch your bagels being made fresh at Bagel Story in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. A glass enclosed kitchen lets you take in all of the action. The bagels come in flavors like Maple Walnut, Honey Cinnamon Crunch and Jalapeno along with traditional varieties poppy, sesame seed and everything. The shop is bright and airy with some indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast items and pressed sandwiches (on bagel or house-made bread) are also available. They include the Roast Beef 1877 made with hot roast beef, gravy and mozzarella, and the B.A.L.T with turkey bacon, avocado, lettuce and tomato.
