Italian food comes alive in the heart of the Seaport District at Barbalu. Run by husband and wife team, Stefano Barbagallo and Adriana Luque, the restaurant is nestled inside an historic waterfront building with lots of exposed brick and old world charm. And while you might be tempted to eat at one of the many outdoor stands, Barbalu allows you to sit back and enjoy a meal with a nice glass of wine. The menu features Italian favorites like lasagna and veal scaloppine, along with oven roasted sea bass and homemade ravioli with sage butter.
