A Spanish feast awaits at Boqueria. This lively Barcelona-inspired tapas bar is now in Midtown. Located across from the New York Times building on West 40th Street, the restaurant is featuring a large rotisserie for spit-roasting meats, including whole suckling pig. Look for dishes like Pollo d'Ast, slow roasted free-range chicken served with roasted potatoes and root vegetables and plenty of tapas. Think grilled octopus with fennel and smoked pimentón; creamy potato croquettes with mushroom and Serrano ham; and seared Colorado lamb skewers with pickled shallots and salsa verde. There's paella along with traditional Spanish wines and sangria. Chef Marc Vidal is also offering his first breakfast menu which includes Revuelto de Gambas, a soft scramble of shrimp and Guindilla peppers on country toast. Also ask about the Chef's Tasting Menu. The space is casual yet elegant with a 24-seat kitchen counter and semi-private chef's booth, along with an extensive outdoor patio and bar area. See more
