Details:

Executive Chef Sung Park and his team are relaunching Brasserie Seoul in Downtown Brooklyn, opening with a refreshed culinary focus and remodeled space. With Chef Park’s attention to detail that he is known for at Bistro Petit, and dedication to carefully selected ingredients, the reinvented Brasserie Seoul will offer his signature, artfully crafted French dishes, layered with bold Korean flavors reminiscent of his upbringing in Korea, travels to Marseille and classic French training.

Brasserie Seoul will introduce a style of cuisine to its guests, heavily relying on ingredients such as gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes), garlic and young ginger, coupled with Chef Park’s house made kimchi. Dish highlights include Fermented Black Bean Crusted Cod with a gochugaru carrot reduction and pink peppercorn garnish, Kimchi Bouillabaisse enhanced with chef’s house made Napa cabbage kimchi and tteok, and Half Shell Oyster with KKaennip and a pork belly confit kimchi shooter. An extensive wine and cocktail list will be featured on the menu as well.

Designed by Suemin Jeon, Brasserie Seoul’s interior has been given a modern and bright look, with a brass bar acting as the focal point of the main dining room, and newly laid polished concrete floors. Outfitted with a separate greenhouse cladded with ashwood, which lends an open-air feel, an outdoor atmosphere is available any time of year. A private semi-enclosed dining area decorated with leather wrap wall paneling is also available for large parties or special occasions. Brasserie Seoul will be open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, 7 days a week. See more
