It will be love at first sight the moment you walk into DohYO. This sprawling restaurant, lounge and rooftop bar has a modern European feel and a sexy clientele to match. It's located on the fourth floor of new Yotel in the heart of Hell's Kitchen. Inside you'll find mustard green cushioned booths with futuristic white tables and a bustling bar, while outside u-shaped purple and white lounge seating offers large groups a perfect spot to share a cocktail while taking in stunning views of the New York City skyline. At DohYO, celebrity chef Richard Sandoval is turning out dishes inspired by both Asia and Latin America. Spicy tuna rolls with diver scallop, cucumber and scallion are served alongside shrimp ceviche with yuzu, melon, orange and serrano chilies. The menu of small plates, many under ten dollars, also includes grilled pork spare ribs, pork belly tacos, steamed crab dumplings, grilled salmon and crispy chicken wings. For dessert, try some Hummingbird Toffee Cake and chocolate cheesecake laced with blackberries and chipotle. The staff here is super friendly; the vibe super fine DohYO!
