If there is one place worth visiting at Industry City, it is Ejen, which is producing mighty good Korean comfort foods with a deep fryer and a couple of hot plates. Everything we tried was terrific, from the meatballs, which sellout quickly, to the bibimbap made with fresh veggies, beef and topped with a glistening sunny-side up egg. There is excellent beef soup with melt-in-your-mouth morsels of meat and plump pork dumplings also swimming in the mix. Or, get the dumplings fried. The are topped with a special house sauce that really ramps up the dish. Everything is amazing at Ejen down to the small side of spicy cucumbers and the magnolia berry iced tea. It might just explain the long line.
