Fedora is back! Gabriel Stulman restoring this former speakeasy, and notable NYC hangout, back to its original splender and turning it into a spot for hipsters, foodies and just plain old neighborhood folks looking for an inventive meal at one of its limited tables. Start with some fresh oysters and cod fritters. Or go for an Egg In A Hole, tripe ragoƻt with cheddar served on thick toast. You'll also find razor clams with apple juice and brussel sprouts. Main courses are equally as exciting. There's rock shrimp salad with avocado and a shiitake vinaigrette, ands crispy duck with BBQ sauce and dates. In the mood to share? Fedora's offers a "Big Pork Chop" with scallion pancakes and spiced meatballs. While you're there quench your thirst with a classic cocktail. The drink list includes names like Louisa May's Favorite Table made with applejack, sherry and apple cider. There's also the Black Squirrel Old Fashioned with Buffalo Trace Bourbon and house pecan bitters. Satisfy your sweet tooth with some apple crumble, tall chocolate cake, and madeleines still warm from the oven with honey citrus sabayon. Stulman has done a wonderful job bringing back Fedora and if we're lucky this New York City gem will be with us for many more years to come. -Thomas Rafael
