From Tao Group comes Feroce, a collaboration with restaurateur Francesco Panella of Antica Pesa fame. Feroce consists of three separate and distinct spaces: Feroce Caffe, Feroce Restaurant and Bar Feroce. Each of the spaces, designed by the Rockwell Group, are meant to transform guests to Italy. At Ferocce Caffe, wake up to pastries like Torta Della Nonna and Cannolo Sicliano, as well as house-made doughnuts. Afternoon brings Italian sandwiches and pizzette. Feroce Ristorante, meanwhile, offers a mix of Italian charm and fine dining. The menu includes everything from classics like Prosciutto di Parma with buffalo mozzarella to Fettuccine All'astice with homemade pasta, fresh lobster and cherry tomatoes. There is Gnocco Fritto, deep-fried dough from Emilia Romagna with cured meats and a cloud of aged parmigiano reggiano. Pesce Spada in Vasocottura uses an ancient cooking method where swordfish is cooked in a jar with cherry tomatoes, lemon zest, capers, olives and broth. Or, splurge with Per la Tavola, a grilled 32-ounce dry-aged T-Bone seasoned with Trapani sea salt and organic rosemary. Finally, there is Bar Feroce featuring a 9-seat bar, lounge seating with plush pillows and hanging swings, as well as an intimate all-season terrace.
