Ferris at the Made Hotel in Nomad is a 40-seat restaurant offering New American cuisine. Chef George Proechel, formerly of Eleven Madison Park, Blanca and Le Turtle, is heading up the kitchen. Look for snacks like Chips & Dip with chicharrones and chicken liver mousse; and blood sausage with grilled dates and toasted seeds. Appetizers range from Iberico pork collar with mushrooms and peppers in a black bean sauce to Okinawa sweet potato with pumpkin mustard and buttermilk. Main dishes include lobster with pumpkin and whey; and Cote De Boeuf with all the fixings. Cocktails, by husband-and-wife mixologists Oertel and Natasha David (formerly of Death and Company and Maison Premiere) include names like The Ninth Petal made with gin, blanc vermouth, jasmine and mirabelle.
