GRÜNHAUS, a new beer hall, has arrived on the Lower East Side where you can take in some rays (weather permitting) and enjoy a nice cold brew. The beer garden is from the team behind Spritzenhaus in Williamsburg and features more than 30 rotating beers on tap, bottle or can. Among them is the Fulton Standard, a true amber American lager, and the Radeberger, a golden pilsner with a light fruity aroma. There are Belgian ales like St. Feuillien that GRÜNHAUS calls its "sexiest beer" and ciders, including one from Brooklyn Cider House, as well as hard root beer. On the menu, look for 10 house sausages (including rabbit & veal, duck and venison) with special sauces, Belgian Fries, Sigmund’s Soft Pretzels and more.
