The food is almost secondary to the feel of the place. The restaurant is light and airy with tiled floors, a high tin ceiling and antique mirrors. French doors bring the outside in and help the bistro come alive. We stopped in for brunch which begins with a fresh assortment of breads and croissants, omelettes and French toast. Try the pressed sandwich of ham, cheeses and pear mustard served with fresh greens. It's excellent. The steak frites offers a good cut of meat cooked to perfection. Prices and Cafe Moutard are moderate, running from $7-$13 for brunch. But to get the true feel of the place, I'd recommend a visit between lunch and dinner, when the crowds are small and the sunlight is beaming through. Grab yourself a glass of French wine and enjoy the day!
