A cozy wine bar called The Owl's Head is making Bay Ridge its home. Located just off Fifth Avenue and 74th St, owner John Avelluto is offering an assortment of select natural wines, small-batch craft beers and small plates of artisan cheeses and charcuterie in a casual setting. For those who enjoys a bit of mystery in their lives, Avelluto curates a "mystery case" of wines with 6 whites and 6 reds for $170. Outside, a new mural is commissioned each year in collaboration with NYC's Molly Crabapple and Saudi Arabian street artist MS Safaa.
