Walking down Orchard Street I stumbled upon this tiny shop when I realized it was selling one of my favorite things, popcorn. And not just any popcorn, but gourmet popcorn. You can buy it by the bag or by the shot, which is about the size of a small order of french fries. Flavors change daily. Regulars include pure caramel and zen cheddar, and then there are some not-so-regular flavors like white truffle-cheddar, za'atar and margarita. The flavor of the day this visit was "Apple Bacon Bourbon Caramel." It almost had a smoky flavor with yummy apple and bacon bits mixed in. I took a bag home to the family, along with an organic white cheddar variety, and both were gone in no time. Prices range from $2 for the Karma Shot, which is just enough for a quick fix, up to $8 for the Big Karma Keeper, which can also be refilled. Pop Karma is good karma! - Thomas Rafael
