If lobster is what you seek, a visit to Red Hook Lobster Pound is in order. Here you will find some of the freshest lobster in the city, barring a trip to Maine. Four different lobster rolls are available, including a BLT, Maine and Tuscan version. But for a true “lobster” experience you may want to go with the lobster dinner. It is a lobster feast perfect for a hot summer day. It includes a 1-1/2 lobster, corn on the cob, new potatoes and coleslaw. It costs about $30 per person, but well worth it (bib inlcuded). New England-style seafood boils are also offered along with Fried Oysters Rockefeller. Outdoor dining is available weather permitting.
