Cititour Review:

If you're not used to seeing your sushi whiz by on a conveyor belt, you're not alone. This was my first experience with hi-tech sushi (although I hear it's rather routine in Japan). At Sakae Sushi you can simply grab a plate as it passes by or order via a tableside computer. I found the computer to be a little complicated and quickly lost track of what I was ordering. So, if you're a total nerd like me, there's also the waiter. A quick buzz and they'll come by and take your order. I found the entire system fascinating. Plates of sushi with clear plastic lids (think mini cake holders) pass you by at eye level and you can make selections by looking at what's under the lid or by color of the plate. Different colors denote different prices, ranging from $1.90 (2 pcs) for house quality to $3.90 for premium. Premium rolls sell for $6.90 and you can also purchase sets or bento boxes. If you're expecting the sushi to be the quality of 15 East, you'll probably be disappointed. If you're expecting decent sushi and rolls (be sure to try the crispy soft shell crab maki) at discount prices (including an all-you-can-eat deal for $25), you might be pleasantly surprised.
