And they're off! Siro's, a staple for folks betting on the ponies at Saratoga, is now placing its bets on Manhattan, setting up shop at the corner of 47th Street and 2nd Avenue. The classy spot, with its linen tablecloths and horse-racing motif, is already drawing in an upscale crowd. The menu is heavy on seafood with lobster salad and Chesapeake Bay crab cakes, along with a foie gras "BLT" to start. You will also find a few pasta dishes available in full or half orders. Crispy summer flounder, aged sirloin steak and rack of lamb round out the entrees, along with fresh Maine lobster in monster sizes ranging from 2 pounds to ten. Expect some monster prices to match.
