Cititour Review:

This small restaurant in Bay Ridge is cooking up Greek specialties and doing it right.

There's an assortment of Greek cheeses and sausage, lemony grape leaves and Spanokopita; an over-sized spinach pie made with feta and herbs tucked inside filo dough.  It's very good, and one piece could easily serve as a meal.

Juicy Pork and chicken kabobs are served solo, as add-ons to salads, or in sandwiches.  The latter is topped with red onion, lettuce, tomatoes and house fries, then sprinkled with tzatziki sauce.  The pita sandwiches are plump and delicious, and for a family on a budget, a cheap meal at around five bucks apiece.  Something Greek also serves up decent burgers, and daily specials like Pastitsio, a Greek version of lasagna, Moussaka layered with eggplant, zucchini, potatoes and ground beef, and oven-roasted lemon chicken.

The place is bright and cheery with exposed brick, solid wooden table and chairs.  They also have an outdoor garden.

Something Greek really is something special.
