Arium will get respect
I can't think of another place like this in Manhattan. Elegant, quiet, plenty of room to breathe, wonderful food. I wish there was some equivalent in my neighborhood. Want to eat well and relax? Check this place out.

Loved everything
Tea time starts at 3 but I didn't know so when I got there I was 50 minutes early. The wait staff was totally cool when I told them i'd have to come back--after we'd already been seated. Then when we got back, they quickly ushered us to our original table. The service was very friendly and attentive. They made good recommendations as to which kind of tea to have. The food was just divine, especially the scones!! Will definitely go back again!!
