Review:
You might not think of a church as a hot spot, but Cafe St Bart's has morphed into a stylish spot to enjoy an open-air breakfast, brunch and dinner. And yes, cocktails are served.
For breakfast, there are homemade waffles and pecan-baked french toast with freshly squeezed orange juice or a mimosa. Look to spend about $21. Add some slab bacon and it's $26.
A $25 prix fixe lunch offers a nice variety of choices including; Eggs Park Avenue served with smoked salmon and Classic Eggs Benedict with crispy baked potatoes. You can wash it down with coffee and tea or perhaps a strawberry sparkler.
Dinner at Cafe St Bart's starts with a series of small bites ranging from $8 for the soup of the day to $14 for a warm goat cheese salad to $17 for the lobster tempura. You'll also find several pasta dishes on the menu as well as Old Charleston Shrimp and Grits ($18). Main courses run the gamut from a grilled sirloin burger ($14), slow-roasted rabbit ($26) and a 16-ounce dry-aged ribeye that they call a Cowboy Steak ($38)
And you won't want to leave without dessert. Our personal favorite: the very "sinful" Rocky Road Chocolate Brownie Sundae.
