The old Wythe Diner in Williamsburg has been reincarnated as Cafe de la Esquina, a spin-off of Akhtar Newab's popular taco joint and club in Nolita. The new spot will include a back room, diner and taqueria, which like its Manhattan counterpart, will dish up tantalizing tacos made with pulled pork, rotisserie chicken and grilled steak. You'll also find breakfast burritos, Mexican street sandwiches known as tortas, and traditional Mexican sodas in flavors like grapefruit, mandarin and mango.
