Summary:
Camino Sur is a new midtown restaurant serving the cuisines of South
America in an eclectic setting showcasing food, theatre, music, art,
design and architecture, in the Zipper Theatre complex at 336 West 37
Street. Located on Manhattan's West SIde, home to the city's garment trade
and the theatre district, Camino Sur is open seven days a week for
pre-theatre, dinner, late night and lunch. - Camino Sur
Walked into this warm, multi-level, jammin, after-life theatre. Met by a rad host who quickly sat us. The stage was carefully set with a prep chef and great mood lighting. Began with the ceviche that was mad fresh and some peasant soup that had all the full flavors from the south. Next, I had the chicken. it was subtley prepared and allowed me to just enjoy the dish as it's supposed to taste. Tried some rice, with a hint of coconut that demanded a second portion. The place had alot of energy and seemed perfect for the group of eight. To full for the deserts, but my friends had this crazy fried dough dish that was quite tasty. I thanked my friend for the great score.
