Talk about a deep freeze. Four Winters, a new ice cream shop in Long Island City, is using liquid nitrogen at minus-196 degrees to create its frozen treats. Flavors include Knafeh based on a Middle Eastern dessert with pistachios & simple syrup, Cereal Crunch with salted caramel & cereal clusters, Key Lime Pie, S'Mores, Vegan Chocolate Peanut Butter and Mango Chili sorbet. This is the first East Coast venture for Four Winters which already operates in London, Jordan, Egypt and Los Angeles.
