Walking through the double doors Le Colonial takes you back to colonial Vietnam when the French were there (hence the name).
The first floor is well appointed with beautiful hanging fixtures and French shutters… but it's the second floor that is really eye catching… not just the elegant décor but the elegant people speaking in hushed tones by the bar.
The food is tasty but on the minimalist and pricey side. A fusion of American and Vietnamese tastes, the grilled sea bass with sweet and sour sauce is a must as is the eggplant with sautéed prawns.
