Cold Steel.. warm colors.. good food.
Built beneath the roadway leading to Grand Central Terminal, Pershing Square transforms this long-ignored space into a first-rate restaurant. Pastel colors and huge windows give the restaurant a touch of class.
Coffee and pastry is served near the entrance, a "Buzz" bar midway and formal dining in the rear.
Great seafood cocktail and fried oyster crisps for starters. Also enjoyed the seared sea scallops and a simple chicken and duck pot pie. For desert, try some refreshing sorbet with fresh berries.
Service is first rate. $35-$50 per person.
