Review:

This is one of those special places that serves up delicious French foods and delightful pastries. Service is warm and friendly, and the atmosphere is definitely French. Old tin boxes line the walls. The owners are fanatics and own about 5,000 of ‘em. The shop is also loaded with delicacies and jams that make for great gifts. The menu includes traditional French items, like Boeuf Bourguignon and Carre d'Agneau, rack of lamb. The steak frites is above par. The 11 ounce steak comes served with a pat of herbed butter that drizzles over the meat and the fries are plentiful. Crepes filled with Jambon ham and Béchamel sauce are outrageous. They also make great omelets and croissants for brunch. And you won’t be able to walk out without trying one of their fabulous French pastries. From the creme brulee to the fresh fruit tarts, all of the desserts taste as good as they like. Provence also makes homemade ice creams. Prices are reasonable at $14-$17 for entrees. Pastries run from $3.50 to $5. They also have a decent wine list and beers from France, Belgium and Holland. This is a keeper!
