Review:
Just like its towering Buddha, Tao is still larger than life. And while there may be fewer celebrity sightings these days, and more tourists, it still manages to be a premier destination spot. It doesn't hurt to be steps away from the Four Seasons either.
During our visit, we found the bar buzzing with lots of suits mingling with martini-clad gals nibbling on Chilean Sea Bass satay and lobster wontons. There is still electricity in the air at Tao. And while mixed drinks will run you $11+, it's the price one must pay to mix in one of the city's hots spots. We walked right up to the bar, but if you're seeking a table, reservations are a must. Some things never change!

Tao offers some superb dishes and a memorable dining experience. With a giant buddha in the middle of the restaurant and a private dining room upstairs, the place exudes high-class. And the prices reflect it, but still a must-see.
