Review:
The next time you need a spot of tea, you might want to consider stopping by the Tea Spot in the Village. This quaint little shop, complete with wi-fi, boasts more than 80 varieties of tea from around the world. There's black, green and ginseng. And some less familiar names like Nepal Golden, Silver Spring Plum, White Peony and Jasmine Dragon Tears. Most can be purchased loose or by the cup.
The Tea Spot also has a nice selection of tea pots for sale. But being lazy and used to dropping a tea bag in a cup of boiling water (and fearful of infusers and strainers), I was most impressed with the disposable tea filters that make drinking fine teas a piece of cake, which you'll also find at the Tea Spot!

Great little spot to relax with a cup of tea. Bring your laptop and get some work done with free wifi. Pricey tea but atmosphere and wifi provide value. In the heart of GV and NYU. No greater place on earth. Try the Chocolate Ginger if you fancy something unique or a strong cup of English Breakfast if you're the traditional type. Service is friendly. Room down stairs for added quiet. Recommended by this reviewer.
