Review:
A trip to Totonno's is like a trip back in time. The restaurant, which dates back to 1924, still has that old world charm. Lots of photos lining the walls offer a glimpse of Coney Island history. But it's the coal fired ovens that bring in the pizza lovers. Pies arrive sizzling with fresh mozzarella and Totonno's famous tomato sauce. The crust, burnt around the edges, helps make this one of New York's favorite pies. But there are no fixed hours, the place closes when the dough runs out. So it's best to call ahead.
