Cynthia is an intimate 28-seat tasting-menu restaurant in the West Village where Brazilian influences, Michelin-level technique, and a deep commitment to sustainability come together in a distinctly personal dining experience. Led by Executive Chef-Partner Sherry Cardoso, formerly of Per Se and Olmsted, and Managing Partner Claire DuBois, previously of Sartiano's, the restaurant is supported by Wine Director and Sommelier Eva-Marie de Rocquigny du Faye (formerly of Le Bernardin and Le Chêne) and Beverage Director Orlando Franklin McCray (formerly of Four Horsemen). Rather than focusing on a single cuisine, Cynthia lets seasonal ingredients lead the way, with every element thoughtfully utilized through house-made ferments, vinegars, and creative preparations that minimize waste while delivering a refined, ever-evolving tasting menu.
