If fried chicken were a drag queen it would be Hybird Chicken. It comes packed in its very own black and "lipstick red" box. The paper it's wrapped in is plastered with bold black question marks. But there's no question that these guys know their fried chicken. At Hybird, it is legs and only legs; drumsticks to be exact. You can buy it by the piece ($4) or by the pair ($7) and so on. The legs providing the perfect handle for the moist chicken surrounded by a fabulously crispy crust. And don't skip out without trying at least one of their flaky Southern biscuits. Smear a little honey butter on it and you'll think you died and went to heaven. - Thomas Rafael
