Joe’s Steam Rice Roll now has a location on St Marks Place in the East Village. The space has an open kitchen where you can take in all the action. If you’ve never a rice roll, think wide sheets of steamed rice noodles rolled up with beef & pork or shrimp in the center along with dried shrimp, egg and bean sprouts. The noodles are then seasoned with a soy or hoisin sauce. House-made chili oil can also be drizzled on top. Grab some chopsticks and start slurping.
