Chef Lauren Tourondel's L'Amico is drawing large crowds at the Eventi Hotel with its open-air dining. Billed as a "casual" spot, Tourondel is recreating the memories of Sunday dinner with his Italian grandmother. The setting is rustic. Pizzas are fired up in twin wood-burning ovens. Starters include things like veal & pork meatballs, grilled octopus and yellowtail with grated lime and orange confit. There are a number of pasta dishes to choose from, and main courses ranging from skirt steak with charred cauliflower to wood oven roasted chicken with preserved lemon.
