Slicehaus, a classic New York-style pizzeria, has opened in the West Village at 30 Carmine Street. The concept is led by hospitality veteran Enrico Proietti (Baraonda, Per Lei, Bella Blu), master pizzaiolo Agostino Cangiano (formerly of Sotto La Luna and L’Industrie), and entrepreneur Tatiana Revox. The menu features crisp, airy slices made with bromate- and bleach-free flour imported from Italy, alongside Italian sandwiches and seasonal specialties. Offerings range from classics like Margherita, Pepperoni, and Mushroom Shallots to square Sicilian pies, inventive options such as Potato and Bacon or Ham and Corn, and rotating specials including Robiola and Prosciutto or Porcini and Speck. Signature sandwiches, like the Meatball Parm, Mortadella and Burrata, and Porchetta and Porcini, round out the menu.
