Details:
Sushi Beauu, a new Japanese restaurant and omakase bar inside the Empire State Building, comes from hospitality veteran Keisuke Kasagi and Executive Chef Tetsu Kaminakaya, who recently relocated from Japan after decades running his restaurant, Hanabi. The duo offers two value-driven omakase tiers—the $100 Classic and $140 Seasonal—showcasing imaginative flavor combinations and fish sourced both locally and from Japan. Highlights of the 18-course experience include torched Barracuda with lime, a seamless log of Torched Mackerel, and a unique Tamago with seasoned rice at its core. Guests also enjoy warm Egg Custard with mochi, eel, and mushrooms before handrolls like the signature ESB Roll. The meal ends with miso soup and Imo Yokan, while à la carte options are available in the 20-seat dining room. Chef Tetsu further expands the menu with The Beauu Morning, a traditional Japanese breakfast featuring onigiri, tamago, miso soup, and roll sets.
