Inspired by Mexico City’s vibrant Condesa neighborhood, the restaurant blends retro-chic design with deeply rooted family recipes that honor Baizan’s Puebla heritage. The menu highlights 11 tacos made with fresh nixtamal tortillas — from crispy Pescado and juicy Birria to smoky Camarón and vegan Hongos — along with street-style favorites like Elote Asado and customizable burritos. Signature cocktails like the Beso Rojo (tequila, pomegranate-hibiscus, citrus) and Pepino (tequila, cucumber, lime) add extra flair, while warm lighting, vintage mirrors, and a stained-glass “Condesa” wall handcrafted in Mexico City complete the transportive experience. Taquería Condesa is walk-in only at 824 9th Avenue and open daily.
