The Boring Sandwich is a Lower East Side sandwich shop from chef Michael Brafman, whose résumé includes kitchens connected to Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Danny Meyer and Geoffrey Zakarian. Despite the name, the menu travels widely, from Japanese egg salad and kaya toast to a Uruguayan-style chivito, Sichuan sausage sandwich and New Orleans-inspired muffuletta.
