Zig Zag Oyster Bar is a bright, easygoing Prospect Heights seafood spot from the team behind nearby Hart’s and The Fly, with a horseshoe bar, sidewalk seating and a menu built around local seafood. Oysters are shucked to order, joined by littleneck clams, shrimp cocktail, peel-and-eat shrimp and seafood towers, while snacks and small plates range from potato chips with anchovies and crab dip to whitefish salad with Sungold tomatoes. Drinks keep things equally classic, with ice-cold martinis, Vespers, Margaritas and a concise selection of seafood-friendly wines.
