Zito's Sandwich Shoppe lands in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Wood floors and lots of exposed brick make for a comfortable spot with a half dozen tables and some counter space. Look for Italian classics like Chicken and Meatball Parm, Brooklyn cured Pastrami with sauerkraut and Swiss, along with stuffed Braciole from Faicco's. Another favorite is the Sixpoint Roast Beef topped with housemade mozzarella, marinated mushrooms and onions. Zito's is also serving up a Panelle sandwich (chickpea fritters) with roasted peppers and mixed greens. All of the sandwiches are served on fresh bread, including gluten free and foccacia from Krumville Bake Shop.
