‘ino, the newest project from Bottino founders Danny Emerman and Chef Jamie Kenyon, introduces a modern Italian enoteca to Flatiron at 31 E 20th St. The intimate 60-seat restaurant, designed by architect Thomas Leeser, blends mid-century warmth with contemporary details, including a skylit dining room, Shou Sugi Ban wood accents, and an eight-seat marble bar. All pastas are made in-house and sourced from items from Union Square Greenmarket. Standout dishes include pici with braised rabbit and guanciale, orecchiette with Berkshire pork crumble, and pappardelle with confit goose ragù. Playful small plates such as Duck, Duck, Goose Scotch Egg and fritto misto expand the menu, complemented by a curated wine list from small growers and a cocktail program that bridges British and Italian classics. With its thoughtful design, market-driven cuisine, and cultural edge, ‘ino marks both a bold step forward and a homecoming for Chef Kenyon, who helped open Eataly Flatiron in 2010.
