A Summer Day Cafe
A Summer Day Café is inspired by days spent eating and drinking off the Amalfi coast. Diners can bask in the sunlight from floor-to-ceiling windows while enjoying cocktails and oysters from a seafood-driven menu. Look for dishes like Octopus ala Plancha, Ligurian Lobster Salad and Grilled Swordfish. There's a Smoked New York Strip for meat lovers, while vegetarians might lean toward Saffron Paella with summer squash soffritto and squash blossom chips. Cocktails draw inspiration from summer as well with drinks like the Beleza made with cachaça, tequila, lime, jalapeño, cucumber and mint; and the Capri with aperol, vodka, sherry, grapefruit, cinnamon and passionfruit. A sister restaurant at the same location, called Holy Ground, specializes in slow-cooked meats. Look for the entrance on around the corner on Reade St.
