Balthazar is a modern answer to Parisian fin de siecle brasseries. With signature red leather banquettes, aged mirrors and a vast twenty-seven foot bar, owner Keith McNally creates the most beautiful bustling brasserie this side of the Atlantic. Balthazar patrons can order bistro favorites such as Steak Frites, Chicken Riesling, and Brandade de Morue as well as multi-tiered platters of oysters, clams, shrimp, and scallops from the on-display raw bar. Chefs de cuisine Lee Hanson and Riad Nasr oversee the Balthazar kitchen which serves full breakfast through late-night bistro supper.
