Time Warner Center is now home to Bluebird London. The stylish restaurant with panoramic views of Central Park is offering a modern take on the British brasserie. Executive Chef Nicolas Houlbert, formerly of Bar Boulud and Epicerie Boulud, is focusing on dishes that reflect Britain's roots. There is Cornish Chicken Pie, Beef Wellington for two and Fish & Chips. Also on the menu is Long Island Crab with pickled fennel, Grilled Maine Lobster and Five-Spice Duck Breast. An English Breakfast is also served complete with black pudding, bangers and sunny side up eggs, along with a traditional tea service. Cocktails showcase British brewers and distillers with gin-based drinks like The Vesper made with Reisetbauer Blue Gin and Vodka, Contratto Bianco and orange bitters. The space is elegant with curvey banquettes for groups and intimate tables for perfect for a special night out.
