The original Bubby's in Tribeca has gotten a facelift, including an expanded kitchen and bar. Opened in 1990 by Chef Ron Silver, diners can still expect to find homemade pies, including Peanut Butter Chocolate, Local Apple, Pumpkin and Michigan Sour Cherry. Other comfort foods include Fried Chicken & Pancakes, Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf, the Double Bubby Hamburger with Benton's Country ham, as well as sides like parmesan crusted cauliflower, mashed potatoes with chicken gravy and their classic buttermilk biscuits served with homemade jam. Bubby's also has a location in the Meatpacking District across from The High Line near the Whitney Museum.
