Catmint Wheel Cake
Sometimes you are privileged to try something you have never tasted before. Cat Mint Wheel Cake is one such place. The small shop on MacDougal Steet specializes in Taiwanese Wheel Cakes. Often found at festivals, the cakes resemble a car wheel. They are made in these long trays resembling muffin tins. The fillings are placed on one side and then two cakes are sandwiched together. They are made to order and served fresh off the grill. They come in flavors like Banana Chocolate, Matcha Red Bean and Custard & Bubble. An assortment of teas infused with juices are also available.
