Cervo's on the Lower East Side is serving up Spanish tapas with a definite seafood bent. Think peel-you-own grilled jumbo shrimp swimming in their natural juices. Dive in. Mussels come on a bed of thick yogurt with white beans, onion and basil splashed with a vinaigrette loaded up with cracked black pepper, dill and chives. It's an amazing combo and the mussels we tried were prisitine. Baby clams arrive in a rich, garlicky broth with lots of minced parsley, perfect for dunking your bread into. Cervo's is laid back spot with an accomdating staff, perfect for chilling out on a lazy summer day, maybe with a glass of wine or a classic martini.
