Hill Country Barbecue and Dinosaur Bar-B-Que veteran Jared Male is bringing his love of smoked meats to the Lower East Side. Diners can expect classics like brisket, spare ribs, handcured and smoked bacon, as well as smoked duck. The restaurant is named after Male's grandfather in honor of the many memorable meals they shared together. Look for bar drinks with a bent toward whiskey, bourbon and tequila in a space with lots of knotty pine and wooden communal tables. See more
