The cuisine of Northern India is getting the star treatment at Roasted Masala. Chef Jawad Rehman is using recipes from his grandfather to create dishes inspired by his childhood. Options include Spinach Chaat (lightly fried spinach fritters); Recheado Shrimp spiced with goan chili; Lasooni Gobi (crispy cauliflower with tomato and garlic sauce); Curry Goat made with an old-style recipe; Crab Cakes with roasted masala seasonings and Lamb Rogan Josh with kasmiri cardamom sauce. The restaurant is also known for its assorted kati rolls and vegetarian dishes. You will find Roasted Masala on Columbus Avenue on the Upper West Side.
