Savor Por Favor
The tequila is flowing at Savor Por Favor. This lively Mexican bar and restaurant in the East Village has a loungy area up front with full bar and table service in the back. A "Day of the Dead" mural serves as the centerpiece of the dining room. Cocktails include the El Chipo made with mezcal, ginger, muddled cucumbers and jalapenos; and the Savor Mule with Tito's Vodka, fresh lime and ginger beer. Tacos, including Breukelen Rub al Pastor, are offered along with Tacitos. Larger plates range from Chipotle-Braised Short Ribs to Crispy Chicken Mole and Salmon a la Plancha.
