Restaurateur Harris Salat and chef Rick Horiike have partnered to create Taqueria, a new Mexican restaurant on Bond Street in Downtown Brooklyn. Look for traditional dishes like guacamole and chips, and made-to-order nachos. Tacos come with a range of fillings including flank steak, marinated pork and charred poblano peppers with potatoes. Dinner specials range from chile relleno, and grilled tiger shrimp with a garlic-chile salsa, to braised beef brisket with a smoky chile salsa. Mexican craft beers and house-made aguas frescas are also available.
