Atrium, the bright and airy waterfront restaurant in DUMBO, is marking its 5th anniversary with a new seasonal menu made with market-driven ingredients. Look for things like Sole Meunière for Two with roasted baby potatoes, shaved matsutake mushrooms and toasted almonds in a lemon brown butter sauce; NY Strip with Tallegio cheese and charred onion; Roasted Beets with caesar vinaigrette; and Romaesco served with a macadamia purée and pickled Bronx grapes. A three-course tasting menu ($45 per person) is also being offered with two wine pairings (additional cost). Executive Chef Laurent Kalkotour's new menu is intended to showcase the simplicity of seasonal, local ingredients through signature classic French technique. Also showcased is the Atrium's lush vertical garden.
